Midterm reworking 1

At my job, every laptop that we've set up is encrypted for patient confidentiality reasons. Below is the desktop log in screen that was bundled with the software. This appears after the OS has loaded rather than the familiar CTRL+ALT+DEL screen.

Since we were using it on our systems, my boss asked me to customize it so that it included our logos. Below is the desktop that we're currently using. I had to move some of the logos around and resize them as well.

While everyone loved what I did, I would be lying if I didn't say that there are some things I know aren't right. While they aren't noticeable to most, I know they're there and I wouldn't be doing my photoshop teachings justice if I just let them be and not attempt to correct them.

In addition to the corrections on the original alteration, I thought it would be good practice to try and recreate the original from scratch but with the specifications added. Below is one of my submissions for Midterm.
