Midterm reworking 2

Not long after my adjustments to our encryption login screen, my boss asked me to come up with a desktop background. This would possibly be deployed with the WINDOWS 7 builds we create as the default desktop. I had already made a few logos (variations) for our sections IT department, nothing fancy.

This was the semi-final design...

Then I added a gradiant...

Everyone seemed to like this design so I decided to proceed with thinking about creating/incorporating it into a desktop image. My first intention was to simply expand the gradiant and center the logo.

It looked promising but I also had to incorporate the Riley and IU logos to distinguish our computers from Clarian ones, in terms of support. In addition to grabbing the other logos, I changed the gradiant to reflect more of the Windows 7 color scheme. Below is my first attempt.

Upon testing it out, I found that while the 'R' was perfectly placed, the other logos were both too big and too close to one another. So for the final one I minimzed them and put more of a gap in between them.
