Since the pages creator is no longer associated with them, the site has fallen back on the owners hands and he felt a major change was needed especially due to the current economic times. The main concern is that the page neither engaged nor did it excite the viewer about the community.Below is a mockup I had done in Photoshop after interviewing with the client numerous times and discussing what was needed and wanted.
This is a screenshot of the final index page to the site. After brief discussions with the client, there were only minor alterations that he felt were needed. The color scheme was chosen to both represent the geographical location of the community and because it's the colors associated with the logo/design of the community.
